ZIPAIR Launches First Nonstop Passenger Charter Linking Tokyo and Orlando

Officials cast the four-flight charter run through March 10 as a step toward broader Asia–Orlando air links.

Overview

The inaugural Narita–Orlando flight touched down at about 1:35 p.m. on February 23 with roughly 280 passengers.
ZIPAIR will operate four roundtrip charters, with remaining flights scheduled for February 28, March 5, and March 10.
The service marks Florida’s first nonstop passenger connection with the Asia Pacific region.
MCO welcomed the arrival with a water salute and terminal festivities that included a Disney presence.
Reported flight time was about 12 hours and 30 minutes, with afternoon departures from both airports and evening arrival in Tokyo.
