Overview
- Zeekr revealed the Euro-spec 9X on Wednesday as a single six-seat Ultra AWD trim using a Super Hybrid layout with a 2.0-litre petrol engine as a generator and a 900V dual-motor electrical system.
- The company quotes up to 897 hp, a combined range of about 737 km and 10–80% DC charging in roughly 9.5 minutes for the 55.1 kWh battery, but it says those figures are preliminary and subject to WLTP homologation.
- Zeekr will open pre-orders in the coming months and plans to begin deliveries from late December 2026, with European retail operations expanding from 16 markets now toward a 24-market goal by year-end.
- As an extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) the 9X currently falls outside the EU’s additional countervailing duties on Chinese-made battery electric vehicles, a status that could give Zeekr a short-term price advantage if policy does not change.
- The 9X pairs high-end cabin features such as Nappa leather, a 32-speaker Naim audio system and a 17-inch ceiling rear screen with a narrower European lineup than China’s, where tri-motor and larger-battery Hyper variants remain available.
