Zeekr Confirms 7GT, 8X and 9X for Australia Within 18 Months
New 900‑volt platforms shown in Beijing will inform which variants are considered for export.
Overview
- Zeekr Australia says one of the 7GT or 9X will arrive this year, with the 8X set for next year and the remaining model to follow based on supply.
- The facelifted 009 MPV adds a 900‑volt system on Ultra+ trims with a 115‑kWh NMC battery that can charge from 10% to 80% in about 10 minutes and gains LiDAR‑based driver assistance on Nvidia Thor‑U.
- The 8X displayed in Beijing is a range‑extended hybrid SUV with a 2.0‑litre petrol generator, a 900‑volt setup, dual motors rated at 897 PS, and a WLTP hybrid range up to 1,205 km.
- The 8X Dawn variant uses three motors for up to 1,400 PS and claims 0–100 km/h in 2.96 seconds, with forged wheels, Brembo six‑piston brakes, and added off‑road aids.
- Regional teams are still assessing exports outside China, and Zeekr points to early 7X traction in Australia with about 2,500 orders before test drives as it sequences launches.
