Yucatán Delivers First 64 ‘Vivienda para el Bienestar’ Homes as State Target Rises to 70,000

The state lifted its six-year goal to 70,000 homes with officials reporting 53.3% already under contract.

  • The initial keys were handed over in Mérida’s San Marcos development, where Infonavit is building 2,608 units and says it will deliver 134 homes monthly.
  • Sedatu reported 37,307 homes contracted toward the Yucatán goal, and Infonavit detailed 14 projects totaling 33,000 homes across Mérida, Kanasín, Umán, Ucú, Tizimín, Ticul, Progreso and Valladolid.
