YouTubers Filmed Inside CJP Spokesperson’s Delhi Home, He Says

Police deployment around the house, with a draft complaint authorised, points to a forthcoming criminal probe.

Overview

  • Saurav Das, chief spokesperson of the Cockroach Janta Party, posted an SOS on X saying around 15–20 YouTubers and media persons entered and filmed his Greater Kailash home without consent and that the footage posed a grave security threat to his family.
  • Multiple channels including The Pamphlet and DelhiTak published videos of the property that reporters say showed identifying details such as a vehicle number plate, landlord information and alleged rent figures.
  • Delhi Police dispatched a team led by the Greater Kailash SHO, deployed round‑the‑clock monitoring outside the house and told reporters a draft complaint had been authorised to be submitted on Das’s behalf.
  • Das has sought registration of an FIR alleging house‑trespass, criminal intimidation, defamation and criminal conspiracy, and police say a formal complaint will be lodged after which an investigation will follow.
  • The episode has drawn political attention on the floor of the Rajya Sabha and from national leaders, raising wider questions about influencer reporting, doxxing risks for activists and how authorities will balance privacy and press freedoms.
