Overview
- YouTube TV began rolling out account linking on Monday that lets subscribers who have ESPN in their package access ESPN Unlimited content without paying extra.
- The linking gives pay-TV users access to ESPN Unlimited-exclusive live events such as WWE premium shows and grand slam tennis alongside ESPN Select catalog items.
- Some viewers who enable ESPN Unlimited from YouTube TV are redirected into the ESPN streaming app for playback rather than watching natively inside YouTube TV.
- YouTube TV surfaces ESPN features in Settings > Sports where users can connect ESPN Fantasy Football and link their ESPN account to enable tracking inside the YouTube TV interface.
- The rollout closes a nearly year-long access gap that began after ESPN relaunched its app in August 2025 and required some subscribers to pay about $30 a month for Unlimited access while providers negotiated integration.
