- The chief minister personally distributed appointment letters to 930 Computer Operator (Grade-A) recruits at a Lucknow event on Wednesday, praising the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board for timely completion of the process.
- State officials said roughly 2.15 lakh police personnel have been hired over nine years and several newly selected candidates told reporters the computer-operator hiring was fair and free of recommendations or bribes.
