Xfinity Expands StreamSaver to Add Disney+, Hulu Bundle and HBO Max

Comcast is pitching one-bill management with advertised savings up to 45% to lock in streaming customers.

Overview

  • Comcast's Xfinity, which announced the expansion Thursday, added Disney+, the Hulu Bundle and HBO Max to StreamSaver alongside Peacock, Netflix and Apple TV for Xfinity TV and Internet customers.
  • Customers can pick from eight bundle options that group three, four or all five apps, with the Netflix, HBO Max and Disney+/Hulu entries offered in their ad-supported tiers.
  • Xfinity upgraded its StreamStore so users can move existing subscriptions over, switch selected apps to ad-free versions, and add more services à la carte in one place.
  • StreamStore is available on Xfinity.com and on X1 and Xumo Stream Box through the voice remote, which consolidates sign-ups and charges into a single monthly bill.
  • Third-party outlets reported monthly prices that include $18.99 for Peacock, Netflix and Apple TV and $35 for all five apps, with claimed savings ranging from about 29% to 45%.
