Xbox Game Pass Starter Edition Added to Meta Horizon+

The move expands Quest users’ playable library with limited cloud access to 50-plus Xbox titles to boost Horizon+ value for headset owners.

Overview

  • The starter edition gives eligible Meta Horizon+ subscribers access to more than 50 Game Pass titles, 10 hours of Xbox cloud streaming per month, and Xbox Rewards for playing.
  • Many featured games include Fallout 4, Fallout 76, Overcooked 2, Grounded, DayZ, Deep Rock Galactic, and SnowRunner, with downloads allowed for unlimited play on Xbox consoles or PC.
  • The starter edition, which launched Tuesday, July 21, 2026, is rolling out now to eligible Horizon+ members in supported regions and Horizon+ costs $7.99 per month or $59.99 per year with a one-month trial available.
  • Meta said it will deliver a Quest Touch–to–Xbox gamepad emulator in the coming weeks so players can use headset hand controllers like an Xbox controller, with Bluetooth pairing of Xbox controllers supported now.
  • Combining the added Game Pass library with Horizon+’s existing VR catalog creates a catalog of more than 150 games and signals Meta’s use of third-party partnerships and cloud streaming to strengthen Quest’s value for users.
