- Xbox published full gamescom plans on July 28, listing a Hall 7 booth (A-0.61) open to attendees August 27–30 and two live broadcasts on August 26–27.
- The booth will host 25 upcoming games across 140 demo stations so attendees can try pre-release builds of titles such as Gears of War: E‑Day, METRO 2039, Halo: Campaign Evolved, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 and Fable.
- Gears of War: E‑Day will offer the first public playable campaign ahead of its October 6, 2026 release and METRO 2039 will be playable for the first time before its February 2027 launch.
- Xbox FanFest returns to Cologne on August 26 with entry via an official sweepstakes, and Xbox will stream developer interviews, gameplay reveals and trailers on YouTube and Twitch with ASL and audio description support.
- The booth will include wheelchair access, Adaptive Controllers on request, adjustable demo stations, a Quiet room, sensory items and scheduled interpreters and audio descriptions to broaden on-site and remote access.
