Xbox Builds 25‑Game Gamescom Booth to Mark 25th Anniversary

To drive early playtests plus publicity for new titles, the program stages playable demos, live broadcasts with ASL and audio descriptions as well as accessible booth services.

Overview

  • Xbox announced on July 28, 2026 that its Gamescom presence in Cologne will feature 25 upcoming games across 140 playable demo stations in Hall 7, booth A‑0.61.
  • The booth will offer first public hands‑on campaign access for Gears of War: E‑Day and a live Fable demo theater from Playground Games to show combat and gameplay.
  • Several major third‑party titles will be playable, including Alien: Isolation 2 from Creative Assembly and Sega, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, Metro 2039 and Stranger Than Heaven.
  • Xbox will stream two in‑booth broadcasts on August 26 and 27 with ASL and English audio descriptions, and return FanFest to Cologne on August 26 with a ticket sweepstakes.
  • The booth includes detailed accessibility measures such as wheelchair access, Xbox Adaptive Controllers, adjustable demo stations, a Quiet room, sensory items and interpreters during set hours, which aim to make the event more inclusive for attendees.
