Overview
- ARD and ZDF will show 60 of the 104 matches in Germany, including all group games of the national team, while MagentaTV holds the rights to every match with 44 games airing there only.
- The 2026 tournament runs from June 11 to July 19 across the United States, Canada and Mexico, expanding to 48 teams and 104 matches with a new round of 32.
- Group E features Germany, Ecuador, Ivory Coast and Curaçao, with matches scheduled in Philadelphia, Houston, Kansas City, East Rutherford and Toronto.
- Group F brings together the Netherlands, Japan, Sweden and Tunisia, with fixtures set for Dallas, Houston, Kansas City and Monterrey.
- German law requires the national team’s games, the opener, the semifinals and the final to be free-to-air, which drove the sublicence deal that keeps marquee matches on ARD and ZDF.
