Overview
- Two Mt. Hood Skibowl employees fell from the Upper Bowl chairlift Thursday around 9:30 a.m. when a maintenance basket, a small work platform used for repairs, dropped into steep terrain.
- One worker died at the scene, and the other suffered serious injuries and was flown by Life Flight to Oregon Health & Science University.
- A third employee began CPR before rescuers arrived, and crews used ATVs and an air ambulance to reach the remote, rugged slope.
