- Norfolk Police were called just after 11am on Tuesday to the Furlong Heath development off Salhouse Road, where a man was pronounced dead.
- The man’s next of kin have been informed, and enquiries are being conducted with support from the Health and Safety Executive.
- Developer Tilia Homes said the deceased was an agency general operative who had been working for a contractor.
- Tilia Homes has closed the site pending a full investigation and is offering welfare and counselling support to employees, subcontractors and partners.
- A section of the building site was cordoned off during the response, and residents reported forensic teams at the scene throughout the day.
