- Mary McGinley, 42, pleaded guilty at Liverpool Crown Court to assault occasioning actual bodily harm and assault by beating.
- The incident began on December 7, 2022, when her late-arriving birthday group was told the kitchen had closed and two men were refused alcohol for lacking ID.
- During the confrontation, staff used a chair to shield themselves and a chef restrained a male customer in a bear hug as McGinley struck a waiter with a high heel and tried to punch the chef.
