Overview
- Margaret Crichton, 78, died after being struck by a Peugeot Expert in the Asda Greenfield Lane car park in Shaw, Oldham, at about 6.50pm on December 18.
- Greater Manchester Police say she was returning to her car as the van was heading toward the car park exit.
- A 35-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving, with no charge announced.
- GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit is investigating and appealing for witnesses, CCTV and dashcam footage, quoting log 2900 of 18/12/2025.
