Overview
- Police say an Anti‑Narcotics Squad raid on a Swaroop Nagar/Burari residence on Thursday followed leads from an earlier NDPS arrest and uncovered a locked room that appeared to be a methamphetamine and MDMA production and storage site.
- Officers identified the woman who died during the operation as Stella Pius and say she allegedly jumped from her flat and was declared dead at Burari Government Hospital; Swaroop Nagar police have opened inquest proceedings.
- Investigators report seizing large volumes of chemicals and equipment consistent with synthetic drug manufacture, including roughly 100 litres of unidentified liquids, hydrochloric and hypophosphorous acids, distillation units and weighing machines.
