- A woman in active labour was brought to the Government Primary Health Centre in Sector 3, Ballabhgarh and, after finding the main gate locked, delivered in the open parking area under torchlight on the night of May 15–16.
- The Haryana Human Rights Commission described the case as a “glaring pathetic situation” and has asked the Additional Chief Secretary (Health), the Director General of Health Services, the Civil Surgeon of Faridabad and the PHC in-charge to submit detailed reports and show‑cause responses by mid‑August ahead of an August 19 hearing.
- State health officials opened a high‑level probe and ordered immediate operational fixes at the PHC, including keeping OPD and emergency gates open 24 hours and permanently stationing an ambulance at the centre.
