Overview
- Four men were found with stab wounds on Endell Street and taken to a major trauma centre following Wednesday’s midday emergency call.
- Officers arrested a 47-year-old woman at the scene, recovered a pair of scissors and on Thursday charged Stella Gollovena with four counts of wounding with intent and one count of possession of an offensive weapon.
- All four victims were treated by paramedics and have since been discharged from hospital with injuries described as not life-threatening or life-changing.
- A large multi-agency response included several ambulance crews and an air ambulance while witnesses reported a brief stand-off and local shop staff intervened to stop further attacks.
- The Metropolitan Police say they regard the case as isolated and linked to mental health, and they will maintain a visible presence while detectives gather evidence and ask anyone with information to contact them.
