Overview
- Ospreay and reigning AEW World Champion Kenny Omega are confirmed to headline AEW All In at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, Aug. 30.
- Ospreay told interviewers he is “dreading” the match and described it as “my career” and “my life's work,” saying the nerves feel different because of the match’s size and meaning.
- He reiterated that he has “never been a WWE guy,” said he has not been backstage at WWE, and credited ECW, TNA, Pro Wrestling NOAH, Dragon Gate and New Japan as the sources of his style and inspiration.
- Ospreay recalled being at Wembley during the 2023 CM Punk–Jack Perry backstage confrontation, saying he first thought it was a promo and later learned the incident led to Punk’s firing.
- With ticket sales reported near 42,000 compared with AEW’s 46,000 mark in 2024, the match will serve as both a personal milestone for Ospreay and a commercial test of AEW’s continued ability to draw large crowds at Wembley.
