Overview
- Wild Pink announced Still Coming Down on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, set for release August 21 via Fire Talk and published a nine-song tracklist along with the lead single “Round of Applause at the End of the World.”
- The record was recorded at Drop of Sun Studios in Asheville with producer Alex Farrar in a concentrated, one-week session, a much shorter process than the band used for their 2024 album.
- Frontman John Ross invited notable guests to the sessions, including Meg Duffy of Hand Habits, MJ Lenderman and two of his bandmates, Landon George and Xandy Chelmis.
- The lead single arrives with a Wes Sterrs-directed video that foregrounds themes of anxiety and paranoia and is presented as the first chapter in a planned four-part visual series.
- Wild Pink will headline a European tour in September and then play a longer U.S. run largely opening for Shakey Graves, a coordinated schedule that pairs the album launch with sustained live exposure and builds on the band’s recent touring ties.
