Wicker Park Photo Booth Studio ‘The Strip Club’ Opens Friday With 11 Machines

The founders aim to preserve scarce analog booths by creating a playful, all-ages alternative to bar-based photo ops.

Overview

The Strip Club opens Feb. 6 at 1702 N. Damen Ave. in a 2,000-square-foot storefront in the former Bellows Film Lab space.
Visitors can choose from eleven booths—a mix of six vintage‑inspired digital units and five analog machines—with some analog models dating to the 1940s and 1950s.
Each photo strip initially costs $7, entry is free, and every booth accepts credit cards.
Hours are noon–9 p.m. Tuesday–Thursday, noon–10 p.m. Friday–Saturday, and noon–9 p.m. Sunday, with a grand opening day running noon–10 p.m.
Owners Anthony and Andrea Vizzari of A&A Studios built the concept on nearly two decades of restoring and manufacturing booths, expanding from placements in venues like Schubas, Emporium and the Empty Bottle to a family- and pet-friendly destination with events such as Valentine’s promotions.
