- The White Sox retired Ozzie Guillén’s No. 13 in a pregame ceremony on Saturday, making him the 13th person and the first former manager in franchise history to receive the honor.
- Guillén’s playing resume noted in the ceremony included being the 1985 American League Rookie of the Year, a three-time All-Star and the 1990 Gold Glove winner, and his managerial run from 2004–2011 included the 2005 World Series title.
