Overview
- Everstone Studio and NetEase shadow-dropped Where Winds Meet to Xbox Series X/S, Xbox PC and Xbox Cloud on June 7, making the free-to-play Wuxia open-world RPG immediately available through the Microsoft Store with Smart Delivery.
- The Xbox launch supports full cross-play and cross-save across platforms and grants Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members a Phase 1 starter pack running June 7–July 23 PT that contains 450 Echo Jade, 90,000 Coins and key progression items such as Attune Stones, Lingering Melodies and Pillow Pills.
- The console build includes specific technical upgrades for living-room play, including full HDR, AMD FSR2 upscaling (4K on Series X and up to 2K on Series S), enlarged UI and text, and memory and frame-rate optimizations.
- Everstone also revealed the next major expansion, Hidden Mountain, due in July 2026, which will add a multi-layered 3D vertical region, the Mohist Sect faction, and a new Hand Guard martial-discipline combat style.
- Where Winds Meet has attracted more than 80 million players since its late-2025 launch on PC, PlayStation and mobile, and the Xbox release linked to Game Pass is designed to broaden console audiences and speed new-player onboarding for the game's ongoing live-service model.
