Wetherspoon Sets 12-Day Real-Ale Festival for March 4 Across UK and Northern Ireland

Venues are publishing local line-ups with pricing ahead of the rollout.

Overview

  • The festival is scheduled to start on March 4, with most pubs running through March 15 and some regions listing slightly earlier end dates.
  • Participating sites will pour large line-ups of real ales—often up to around 30—with almost all beers brewed exclusively for the event, plus three vegan options and specialty ingredients such as coffee, elderflower, hibiscus, maple, orange and vanilla.
  • Five international breweries from Brazil, Italy, Mexico, Spain and the USA feature in the collection, and multiple pubs say they will serve a real ale from Mexico for the first time.
  • Prices are venue-specific, with examples including £1.89–£2.89 in parts of the North East, £2.20 at pubs in Barrow and Belfast, and £3.05–£3.39 at Brighton venues.
  • Customers can buy three one‑third‑pint tasters for the price of a pint, with tasting notes available in a printed festival magazine and via the Wetherspoon app and website.
