Overview
- A total of 144 suburban services will be cancelled on January 14 and another 144 on January 15 as part of the ongoing construction between Kandivali and Borivali.
- Night blocks will dismantle Point No. 103 on January 14 and Point No. 102 on January 15 between Kandivali and Malad, with the Up fast line blocked roughly from midnight to 5:30 am and the Down fast line from about 1:00 am to 4:30 am.
- Express services are adjusted, with Train Nos. 19426 and 19418 short-terminating at Vasai Road on journeys commencing January 13–14 and Train Nos. 19425 and 19417 starting from Vasai Road on January 14–15.
- The disruptions fall under a 30-day mega block running from the night of December 20/21, 2025 to January 18, 2026, driven by point removals, suspension of the fifth line and speed restrictions.
- Western Railway has also announced additional night blocks on January 16/17 and 17/18, with 240 suburban cancellations planned over the weekend and specific fast-line shutdown windows published for passengers to plan travel.
