West Virginia Holds Massive Lead in Rocco’s College World Series Jello Shot Challenge

The running leaderboard reflects heavy fan mobilization that is sending $1.50 from each $5 shot to Omaha and hometown food banks as totals continue to be updated.

Overview

  • As of June 15, 2026 Rocco’s publicly posted leaderboard shows West Virginia with 21,715 shots, followed by Ole Miss (8,382), Troy (3,793), Oklahoma (2,920), North Carolina (2,805), Georgia (2,719), Alabama (2,073) and Texas (1,937).
  • Each shot costs $5 and Rocco’s routes $1.50 per sale to food banks serving Omaha and the participating schools’ hometowns, and purchases remain open with frequent hourly leaderboard updates.
  • Rocco’s Jello Shot Challenge began in 2019 at the restaurant across from Charles Schwab Field in Omaha and the business posts photos and regular tallies throughout the tournament to track fan totals.
  • The event has produced very large totals in past years, including LSU’s record 68,888 shots in 2023 and 52,390 in 2025, showing how fan bases can quickly scale fundraising at the CWS.
  • Beyond bragging rights, the contest channels fan competition into local aid and can shift quickly as supporters keep buying shots, so the standings and donated dollars could change as the College World Series progresses.
