Weekend Gun Violence in San Jose, Santa Ana and San Antonio Leaves 4 Dead, 9 Hospitalized

  • Earlier Saturday in Santa Ana, 39-year-old Rene Amriz died after being shot near McFadden Avenue and South Graham Lane in a case police said appears gang-related.
  • San Antonio police reported a Saturday evening drive-by on the East Side that sent two people to hospitals, including a driver with a possible life-threatening gunshot wound, as officers reviewed nearby surveillance video.
