Weekend Crashes in Antrim and Waterford Leave Three Dead and Several Injured

  • In a separate incident in Waterford city, a pedestrian in his 40s was struck and killed on the R448 in Sallypark around 2:10am Sunday, with a post-mortem due and the driver uninjured.
  • Police are also investigating a two‑vehicle crash outside Saintfield around 5pm Saturday that sent a man, two women, and two children to hospital, with injuries for both women and one child described as serious.
