Overview
- Autobahn GmbH starts the first closure phase today around 9 a.m., running until about Sunday 11 a.m., affecting multiple parallel lanes, a circular link and one ramp at the Nürnberg-Ost interchange.
- A second phase is planned from about Sunday 11 a.m. until roughly Monday 3 p.m., closing the A6 parallel lane toward the A9 in the Berlin direction.
- Signed detours guide drivers via the Feucht triangle and the Nürnberg-Süd and Altdorf interchanges, with additional routing at the Nürnberg-Langwasser exit.
- Some diversions remain in place through Monday, and the authority expects all lanes to be available again by Monday afternoon.
- Separately, the A70 near Bamberg will be fully closed in the Schweinfurt direction on Monday and Tuesday nights from 8 p.m. to about 6 a.m. for bridge work tied to the ICE project, with the Bayreuth direction open.
