- The Qatar 1812KM will run on 22–24 October at Lusail as the penultimate round of the 2026 season.
- The campaign will open at Imola on 17–19 April, with the Prologue test set for 14 April at the same circuit.
- Bahrain remains the season finale with the race scheduled for 7 November, with the rest of the calendar unchanged.
- WEC announced the revised date after discussions with the Qatar Motor & Motorcycle Federation, Lusail International Circuit and the FIA.
- The original Qatar opener was postponed due to conflict in the Middle East, with safety for competitors, personnel and fans cited as the priority.
