- Producers announced Tuesday that Warriors will begin previews at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre in March 2027 and officially open in April 2027.
- The show is written by Lin‑Manuel Miranda and Eisa Davis, who adapted the story from Sol Yurick’s novel and the 1979 film and flipped the Warriors into an all-woman gang.
- Warriors grew from a star-studded concept album released in October 2024 that was executive produced by Nas and produced by Mike Elizondo and mixed hip-hop, R&B, salsa and pop influences.
- The creative team announced includes director Jenny Koons, co-director and choreographer Andy Blankenbuehler, producers Thomas Kail, Jeffrey Seller and David Korins among principal designers, while casting and some creative credits remain to be revealed.
