Overview
- The Walt Disney World website launched visible design changes on Thursday, August 20, 2026, replacing the old utility bar with a single, condensed navigation that lists Parks, Tickets & Passes, Places to Stay, Dining, My Plans, a cart icon, and a search icon.
- The homepage hero was simplified and the booking module was moved below the hero image into a separate widget with tabs for Hotels & Packages and Tickets & Passes to make booking feel like its own step.
- Most interior park, resort, and dining pages still show the prior visual design even though the new, slimmer header now appears site-wide.
- The four advanced planning features Disney previewed on June 1—flexible date-range search, side-by-side resort comparison, AI-generated resort summaries, and a pricing and availability calendar—are not yet live and Disney says the rollout will continue iteratively.
- For guests the changes aim to make navigation and booking clearer now and to enable future tools later, but no firm launch dates were given and Disneyland’s site had not received the update at the time of reporting.
