Overview
- Disney published the revised operating hours on Tuesday, June 16, updating schedules for the week of June 28 through July 4 to reflect higher expected attendance.
- Magic Kingdom received the largest change with an 8 a.m.–midnight day on July 4, 11 p.m. closing on June 30, July 2, and an 8 a.m.–11 p.m. day on July 3.
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios gained an extra hour on June 29 and June 30 with new 9 a.m.–10 p.m. closings, and Animal Kingdom closes an hour later at 7 p.m. on June 30.
- EPCOT and the two water parks keep their previously posted hours through the holiday week, with EPCOT still scheduled to close at 9 p.m. on July 4 and Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon staying 10 a.m.–8 p.m.
- The schedule changes follow Disney’s typical practice of posting conservative hours far in advance and adding time as hotel bookings and ticket trends firm up, which affects crowd flow, dining and transport planning, and late-night touring strategies for guests.
