- Wahaha previously confirmed Zong’s resignation, and Jiemian reported she submitted it on Sept. 12 with shareholder and board approval.
- Public equity data indicates Zong remains a major shareholder with about 29.40% of the group.
- On Nov. 18, Xu represented the company at a sales meeting where Zong was absent, following a January statement that 2024 revenue returned to the 70 billion yuan range, up roughly 20 billion year on year.
