Overview
- The 21-stage race runs from August 22 to September 13, crossing Monaco, France and Andorra before Spain, with more than 58,000 meters of climbing over 3,283.7 kilometers.
- Two solo time trials bookend key days: a 9 km Monaco opener on the Formula 1 streets and a roughly 32–32.5 km El Puerto de Santa María–Jerez test late in week three.
- Stage 6 introduces a 3.5 km dirt-road sector toward El Bartolo, placed about 16 km from the finish in Castellón as a new technical twist.
- The penultimate stage debuts the Collado del Alguacil—about 8 km at 9.8% with ramps near 21%—after a punishing Sierra Nevada route.
- Spain’s Mediterranean arc dominates with ten Andalusian stages and summit finishes at Valdelinares, Aitana, Calar Alto, La Pandera and Peñas Blancas, plus Murcia’s Cartagena–Lorca and Granada’s final city circuit.
