Overview
- Volkswagen revealed the ID. Polo, a battery-electric hatchback on the MEB+ platform, with the model slated to become the second EV built at Martorell after the Cupra Raval.
- The car grows to 4.05 meters in length and offers over 400 liters of cargo space, adopting the new Pure Positive design led by Andy Mindt with retro cues and a 0.264 drag coefficient.
- Three power outputs are planned at 116, 135 and 211 CV, paired with 37 kWh LFP or 52 kWh NMC batteries that deliver up to 455 km WLTP, with AC charging up to 11 kW and DC fast charging at 90–105 kW for a 10–80% top-up in about 24 minutes.
