Overview
- Volkswagen published official 2027 Atlas pricing with a starting MSRP of $43,135 including a $1,525 destination charge and a $2,000 premium for 4Motion all-wheel drive.
- Trim pricing rises across the range with the SE w/ Technology at $47,135 (FWD) or $49,135 (AWD), the SEL R-Line at $53,635, and the SEL Premium R-Line at $58,135.
- The base SE now includes expanded standard tech such as a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.9-inch center touchscreen, nine-speaker audio, Qi2 wireless charging and seven USB-C ports.
- All models retain the 2.0-liter turbocharged EA888 four-cylinder paired to an eight-speed transmission but output increases to 282 hp and 258 lb-ft, and selected trims receive a factory hitch and trailer brake controller rated for up to 5,000 pounds.
- Volkswagen says the refreshed Atlas will reach U.S. dealers in the coming weeks and will continue to be built at its Chattanooga, Tennessee plant, a move that could push buyer costs higher as the brand leans toward more premium features.
