  • Two battery choices are confirmed: a 37 kWh LFP pack with up to 90 kW DC charging and a 52 kWh NMC pack with up to 105 kW DC charging, with 10–80% times of about 27 and 24 minutes respectively.
  • Volkswagen quotes up to 271 miles WLTP for the 52 kWh version and around 196 miles for the 37 kWh variant, positioning the car for city‑to‑interurban use.
  • Dimensions are T‑Cross‑like at roughly 4.15 m in length with a 475‑liter boot expandable to 1,340 liters, a 22‑liter frunk and a towing capacity of about 1,200 kg.
  • Early prototype drives report smooth, efficient performance and spacious packaging, while VW’s ‘Pure Positive’ design and the return of physical buttons mark a user‑focused reset; U.S. availability remains unconfirmed.
