Vivo Confirms Global X300 Ultra and 400mm ZEISS Telephoto Kit at MWC 2026

Vivo is positioning the phone as a creator-focused system built around pro video workflows, with full specifications, pricing and launch dates still undisclosed.

Overview

  • Vivo confirmed the X300 Ultra will be sold in global markets, marking the first Ultra-series model to launch outside China.
  • The company unveiled the ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 Ultra, a 400mm-equivalent attachment that supports full 200MP optical output, with company-claimed gimbal-grade OIS, motion-tracking focus and usable crops up to 1600mm.
  • A new SmallRig camera cage adds cold shoe mounts, quick-release ports, physical shutter and zoom buttons, and a built-in cooling fan, and it integrates with the telephoto extender.
  • Vivo highlighted videography features including 4K 120fps recording on all rear cameras in 10-bit Log and Dolby Vision, a Pro Video mode with cinema-style controls, support for custom 3D LUTs and ACES compatibility, and upgraded quad-mic audio with preset modes.
  • Vivo withheld the phone’s full design and most hardware details, and aside from confirming a 200MP telephoto camera, it did not announce pricing or exact release timing, leaving reported internals in the rumor category.
