Vivek Ramaswamy Launches $10 Million Ohio Ad Buy Running Through November

A new EMC poll shows Democrat Amy Acton leading by 10 points, underscoring the gap Ramaswamy hopes to close.

Overview

  • Ramaswamy’s campaign says the buy will keep a continuous presence on broadcast, cable, streaming and digital platforms through the general election.
  • The rollout includes two spots: “Ohio’s Future,” featuring his wife Apoorva on family and affordability, and “Backing the Blue,” with Ottawa County Sheriff Stephen Levorchick on public safety.
  • He reported raising $19.8 million in 2025 and ended the year with about $12 million cash on hand versus Acton’s roughly $3 million, with 97% of donations under $200 and about $800,000 from his own funds.
  • An EMC Research survey of likely November voters taken Feb. 10–22 puts Acton at 53% and Ramaswamy at 43% (margin of error ±2.7%).
  • Ramaswamy holds endorsements from President Donald Trump and the Ohio Republican Party, and faces a May 5 GOP primary before the Nov. 3 general election.
