- Peak Summer 2026 capacity will rise by 12% with additional Manchester–Orlando services, with new flights released for sale on Tuesday, 3 February.
- Winter 2026/27 capacity will increase by 17% through upgauging the route to the larger A350-1000, adding seats without extra frequencies.
- The expansion follows Aer Lingus scrapping its Manchester–Orlando service, which prompted Virgin Atlantic to bolster the route.
- Virgin Atlantic is working with Aer Lingus to rebook displaced customers and is taking on a number of the Irish carrier’s pilots.
