Overview

  • VinFast launched the VF MPV 7 in Indonesia on Thursday, May 21, 2026, as a locally assembled (CKD) three-row, seven-seat EV produced at its Subang, West Java plant.
  • The VF MPV 7 is powered by a 150 kW front motor and a 60.2 kWh LFP battery with a claimed NEDC range up to 450 km and DC fast charging from 10–70% in about 30 minutes.
  • Buyers can choose to buy the battery outright for Rp 420 million or take a battery subscription with prices from Rp 345 million and monthly fees starting at Rp 880,000, plus incentives such as an 80% resale-value guarantee.
  • The company also revealed a heavily updated VF 8 with a 228 hp motor, a 60.13 kWh battery and a claimed NEDC range up to 500 km along with a more premium cabin, ADAS suite, and faster charging.
  • These product moves build on VinFast’s December 2025 Subang plant opening and parallel expansion in India to scale regional production, support dealer networks, and prepare exports to nearby markets.
