Villa Crespo’s Summer Nights Brings Free Bookstore Circuit With Kevin Johansen & Liniers Finale

The city’s economic development program anchors a wider Carnaval lineup featuring theater, dining promotions, plus added arena dates.

  • Noches de Verano – Villa Crespo ran Thursday, February 12 from 19:00 to 23:00 with a walking route through neighborhood bookstores and timed street stops.
  • The circuit featured paradas at 21:00 (Darwin & Loyola with Ilan Amores and Maia Tarcic), 21:30 (Acevedo & Castillo with Julián Tenembaum and Carla Quevedo) and a 22:00 closing at Thames & Velasco with Kevin Johansen and Liniers performing music with live drawing.
  • Organized by the Buenos Aires Ministry of Economic Development under Verano en la Ciudad / BA 24, the event was free to attend and paired cultural programming with a gastronomic map and special offers from local restaurants.
  • Ten independent bookstores in Villa Crespo joined the Route of Neighborhood Bookstores with special programming, including El Libro de Arena, Casa PAM!, Linda Linda, Aristipo, PUNC, Capitán Barato, Verne, Mandrágora, Fetiche and Obsidiana Comics.
  • The broader Carnaval week includes added Sin Bandera dates at Movistar Arena, special Fuerza Bruta functions with a murga, the Gran Corso de los Monos from February 15–19, SushiClub 2x1 offers on February 16–17 and Santa Fe’s long‑weekend agenda spanning benefit concerts, theater, murga and electronic carnival events.
