Overview
- Vigo opened a renewed 426-meter stretch in Sárdoma–Miraflores, creating a continuous 12-kilometer riverside route from Cabral to Samil along the Lagares.
- The city cleared riverbanks, demolished derelict structures, installed twin wooden railings to separate people from traffic and the water, and planted 780 trees and shrubs.
- The Xunta says its 3.5-kilometer path on the PO-546 between Mollavao and Praceres is well advanced, with a target opening in summer and a €5.7 million budget.
- Designs for the PO-546 route include a 2.5–4 meter-wide path on the right side of the road, two new footbridges over the Louriñas and O Sartán, upgraded lighting, and slower traffic through a planned roundabout near the Lourizán research center.
- The state-built coastal promenade remains halted with 800 meters unresolved by the Ence plant, as Transport officials study flood resilience for the PO-11 with Costas, weigh shifting and raising the roadway, rule out an over-sea platform, and signal decisions closer to October after winter storms forced repeated closures.
