Overview
- On February 21 in New Delhi, C. P. Radhakrishnan released updated Tamil and Gujarati editions of the Constitution at the Vice-President’s Enclave.
- The launch included the 8th edition of the Legal Glossary (English–Hindi), with Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal and senior legal official Rajiv Mani in attendance.
- The Vice-President’s Office said the initiative seeks to take the Constitution to people in their own languages to strengthen democratic participation and awareness.
- On February 22 in Tamil Nadu, Radhakrishnan paid tributes to Veeramangai Rani Velu Nachiyar in Sivaganga and offered prayers at the Sowmyanarayana Perumal Temple in Thirukoshtiyur.
- He was scheduled to attend a foundation stone ceremony for a V. O. Chidambaram Pillai statue in Madurai and he highlighted India’s linguistic diversity, noting the Constitution recognizes multilingualism as a strength.
