Overview
- The inaugural ceremony was held on March 21 at Durbar Hall, Lok Bhavan, with Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan addressing the first graduating cohort and emphasizing employability and new-age technologies.
- The Vice President launched a “Say No to Drugs” campaign at the venue and toured the industry partner exhibition named in memory of Jayant Sahasrabuddhe.
- The exhibition featured stalls from Toyota Kirloskar, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Dassault Aviation, Swades Foundation and Art of Living Rural Development Trust.
- Degrees were conferred at the convocation, and industrial institutions from tribal and rural areas received felicitations.
- Established in 2022, MSSU operates city-based training centers and industry-linked programs with partners such as Microsoft, Persistent Systems and Kirloskar Group, runs a BDes with French institute Rubika, reports training about 10,000 women in AI through Code Without Barriers, and is building a permanent campus in Panvel.
