Overview
- The crash occurred early Tuesday around 2:30 a.m. near the 13000 block of South Indiana Avenue in West Pullman when a vehicle lost control, struck a barrier and fell into the Little Calumet River.
- A Chicago Fire Department marine unit rescued one man from the water and he was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in serious condition.
- Three other adults escaped the vehicle, reached shore and were treated at the scene by emergency personnel.
