Vampire Survivors Launches Legacy of the Bloodmoon DLC and Support Patch

The low-cost expansion broadens the game's cast, weapons and stages while a concurrent update improves performance and fixes multiple gameplay and purchase bugs.

Overview

  • Developer poncle released the Legacy of the Bloodmoon expansion on Friday, August 28, 2026, making the DLC available across Switch, consoles and mobile for roughly $0.99/£0.99.
  • The pack adds more than 10 playable characters, over 16 new weapons and evolutions, one very large Red Moon Manor stage, a new adventure and 11 music tracks that advance the Bloodmoon narrative.
  • Version 1.16.100 (listed as console updates 1.33/1.016.105) shipped the same day to integrate the DLC and to rework core framework elements to reduce CPU and memory use.
  • Patch notes detail fixes for gameplay issues including Drowners not spawning, missing sprites, weapon texture glitches, damage-number errors at low FPS, stage stuttering, and problems buying maximum Golden Eggs.
  • Poncle also updated the earlier Legacy of the Moonspell pack with seven new unlocks and buffs, and the developer says work is ongoing to improve visibility and interaction layers for in-game objects.
