Overview
- The state logged 52,729 home rooftop systems in March 2026, the highest monthly total by any state under the PM Surya Ghar scheme.
- Total installations stand at 448,233 with 1,524.61 MW on rooftops, and officials reported a one-day peak of 3,188 systems on March 31.
- Authorities said subsidies of about ₹4,000 crore have been paid, with roughly ₹2,985 crore from the Centre, cutting upfront costs for lakhs of households.
